Military Tattoos

Serving in the military is not only a vocation; it is a sacrifice, because you may have to surrender your life for the sake of your fellow countrymen. If you are proud of your calling, then one way you can show your devotion is by getting military tattoos. After all, getting inked is a symbol of strength, as it is very painful to havea tattoo done. If you have endured tests and battles during your tour of service in the military, it is safe to say that you are strong enough to get tattoos of military symbols and images.

Most soldiers get military tattoos that are inspired by their battalion number or where they have fought. For example, you can have the coordinates of Iraq or East Timor as your tattoo to show where you have been during your last tour of duty. You can also have the image of the pistol or rifle you have used on the battlefield, to show the equipment you had to use in order to fulfill your mission. Another example of tattoos of military imagery involves the drawing of dog tags. It can be a way for you to commemorate your brothers who have fallen on the battlefield. With the many choices for military tattoos, you’re sure to end up with a unique statement.
