Make Money Designing Custom Tattoos Online is a community dedicated to custom tattoo designs since 2008.  We are actively looking for talented tattoo Designers who want to make money designing custom tattoos.  It is 100% FREE to join and participate.  We offer the following two unique ways for tattoo designers to make money:

Tattoo Marketplace:

Customers can browse hundreds of custom tattoo designs submitted by our designers. Each tattoo design can be purchased and printed out instantly.  Artists get paid a 75% commission on every sale!

How the Tattoo Marketplace Works:

  1. Submit any original tattoo designs you have created.
  2. Set a sale price for each design.
  3. Sit back and get paid every time a design is sold.

  1. Create an artist account (click register at the top of this page)
  2. Login and click on "My Account"
  3. Click on the Marketplace Tab
  4. Click "submit a design"

Custom Tattoo Design Contests: 

Customers host their own custom tattoo design contests.  They post a description and tattoo artists compete to design the perfect custom tattoo.  At the end of the contest, the customer selects a winner and the artist gets paid the prize.

How the Custom Tattoo Design Contests Works:

  1. Find a custom tattoo design request you like.
  2. Submit a design(s).
  3. If your design is picked you win the prize money!

What is a stencil and how is this provided to the customer?

A stencil (also referred to as “line drawing”) is a simple outline drawing of the original tattoo design.  This is a digital image delivered to the customer at the same time as the final design.  Both the main design and stencil are uploaded to the design transfer page after a winner is selected.  The customer simply prints out the design and stencil and takes them to their local tattoo shop. 

Do I need to physically mail anything to the customers?

No.  All the designs and stencils are sent electronically through our website.

Do I have to pay anything to participate in the custom tattoo design requests or the tattoo marketplace?

No.  Our modest commissions are only taken when a sale is completed.  We never charge artists to participate or be a member of the community.

How do artists get paid?

All our payments are processed automatically via PayPal.  Design requests are paid immediately after the design is accepted by the customer and marketplace commissions are paid monthly.  Artists are required to have a valid PayPal account to receive payments.  We are actively working on a second payment options for countries where PayPal is not accepted.

I live outside of the United States.  Can I still participate?

Over 50% of our artists reside outside of the United States.  Our only requirement is that you must have a valid PayPal account to receive the payments.  Some countries currently do not support PayPal.
